Novamarketen Pty Ltd (ABN 47 619 832 504) ("Novamarketen", "we", "us", "our") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal information. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose and protect personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs).
1. Information we collect
We collect personal information that you provide to us through forms on this website, by email, phone or in person. This includes your full name, email address, phone number, postcode, household composition, employment status, business details and any other information you choose to share to enable us to assess your eligibility for Australian government payments, grants and tax offsets.
2. How we use your information
We use your information to (a) assess your eligibility for federal, state and territory programs, (b) prepare and submit applications on your behalf where you instruct us to do so, (c) communicate with you about our services, (d) comply with our legal obligations under Australian law, and (e) improve our services and website.
3. Disclosure of your information
We do not sell your personal information. We may disclose your information to: registered tax agents and our authorised partner advisors located in Australia; the Australian Taxation Office, Services Australia, Centrelink and state revenue offices when submitting applications on your behalf; and our IT and analytics providers under written confidentiality and data-handling agreements.
4. Storage and security
Personal information is stored on servers physically located in Australia. We apply industry-standard administrative, technical and physical safeguards including TLS 1.3 in transit, AES-256 encryption at rest, role-based access and ongoing staff training.
5. Access, correction and complaints
You may request access to or correction of your personal information at any time by emailing privacy@novamarketen.com. If you believe we have breached the APPs, you may lodge a complaint with us first; if unresolved, you may then contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au.
6. International transfers
Where it is strictly necessary for the delivery of our services, limited information may be processed by sub-processors outside Australia. In every case we put in place contractual safeguards ensuring an equivalent level of protection to the APPs.
7. Retention
We retain personal information only for as long as required for the purposes outlined above and to comply with legal record-keeping obligations under Australian taxation and corporate law (typically 5 to 7 years), after which it is securely destroyed or de-identified.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The current version always carries the "Last updated" date at the top. Material changes will be notified through this website.
